For many years while participating in art shows, I had a patron that loved benches in the outdoors. Whenever I come across one, inevitably I think of my conversations with her. In remembering these conversations over time while being engaged in the world, I too have developed a fondness for benches in the outdoors. They are a great reminder to slow one's pace and linger just a tad longer in the place that one is currently in. This bench overlooking a few islands in Wisconsin's Green Bay is a great place to embrace that approach to benches and perhaps life. So please, find a good place to sit and enjoy your time.
