Artist's Description

For some reason over the years this barn had drawn me to its presence. I have photographed it in the brutal subzero winds of winter as well as the heat and humidity of summer. One August morning, I was slowly passing nearby and couldn't help but visualize this barn in the fog. I had brought along a six foot step ladder in my truck just in case I would need it. I carefully balanced myself on the top, I looked out and loved what I saw. I was able to create this photograph of the barn being enshrouded by the August morning fog but from a viewpoint above the corn.

About Dylan Punke

Dylan Punke

Lover of Life and Light. I tend to be a natural observer and often a quiet man. I am thankful for being alive and for the experiences that I have had and am able to continue to share. My "formal" photography training consists of two, one day courses in junior high on basic dark room procedures.
