Artist's Description

A frozen barn stands strong on a frigid January day while fresh snow continues to flurry through the air. The snow was flying and visibility was low. This presented an awesome opportunity to once again visually explore this barn in active snow setting. I was out there a few hours walking around the barn and experiencing the cold snowy wind blowing around. I love this photograph with the coldness presented and the character of the old barn. This is the same barn as in my photograph of "N 1650 East" and "Frozen Barn".

About Dylan Punke

Lover of Life and Light. I tend to be a natural observer and often a quiet man. I am thankful for being alive and for the experiences that I have had and am able to continue to share. My "formal" photography training consists of two, one day courses in junior high on basic dark room procedures. Since then, I have learned through direct experimentation and observation of the world around me. My style has been shaped over the years by being immersed in the world and observing the life that is dancing around in the light. It’s quite fascinating! Most of my works are a combination of original color and black and white. I think an accurate term for this is digital desaturation as I utilize a digital program to desaturate (remove) color...
